Hand Cricket ("the Game", "we", "us", or "our") is a free-to-play multiplayer hand cricket game available at hand-cricket-striveon-games.vercel.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our game.

We collect minimal information necessary to run the game:

Player name: The display name you enter before playing. This is stored in your browser's local storage and shared with other players in your match session only.
Game session data: Match scores, picks, and game state are stored temporarily in our Firebase Realtime Database to enable multiplayer functionality. This data is not linked to any personal identity.
Device information: A random anonymous session ID is generated per browser session to identify your device within a game room. This ID is not stored permanently and resets on each visit.

2. Firebase (Google)

Multiplayer game rooms are powered by Firebase Realtime Database, a service by Google LLC. Game session data (scores, picks, player names) is stored in Firebase for the duration of an active match and automatically expires. Firebase may collect usage analytics and diagnostic data as described in their privacy policy at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

3. Cookies

We use browser local storage (not cookies) to remember your player name between sessions. We do not use any tracking cookies of our own.

4. Children's Privacy

Hand Cricket is a casual game intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game does not require account registration, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information to play.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except as described in this policy (Firebase). We do not use your data for any purpose other than running the game.

6. Data Retention

Game session data in Firebase is temporary and tied to active match rooms. Player names stored in local storage remain on your device until you clear your browser data. We do not maintain any server-side user profiles or long-term databases of player information.

Clear your player name by editing the name field in the game
Clear all local storage data via your browser settings
